I’m sure this movie was made with a lot of care and love, BUT, in my opinion, what it lacked most of all was BREATH. Opera singers learn to control their breathing in order to charm us. And I agree with other less favorable reviews that the opening act was really a bad example of a soundtrack, especially since I couldn’t see Miss Jolie breathing! Of course, La Callas lived a luxurious life, but it seemed to me that in this film the main attention was paid to the visual component. This is a movie that I didn’t watch until the end, and I regret it.
