I’m sure this movie was made with a lot of care and love, BUT, in my opinion, what it lacked most of all was BREATH. Opera singers learn to control their breathing in order to charm us. And I agree with other less favorable reviews that the opening act was really a bad example of a soundtrack, especially since I couldn’t see Miss Jolie breathing! Of course, La Callas lived a luxurious life, but it seemed to me that in this film the main attention was paid to the visual component. This is a movie that I didn’t watch until the end, and I regret it. And I had high hopes for these two iconic women. “One Hundred Years of Solitude” is one of the loudest premieres on TV and streaming this month. See our calendar for December for details!
