After winning the lottery, the lucky winner’s life turns into a nightmare. References What the Wind Brought (1939). A comedy? Hmmm… not necessarily, and not in the style of Cohen or Tarantino. I don’t usually like comedies, especially French ones, but this one is definitely worth checking out. It’s funny, imaginative, brilliant, and also bloody – yes, bloody – and always surprising. Several different stories, several sections showing people who won the lottery but actually got into a lot of trouble because of it. The first section is shown before the opening credits. This plot should have been discussed much earlier. Anyway, I’ve never heard anything like it before. This story won’t make you jealous if you win the lottery. But don’t worry, you have a million chances to win. So I guess it’s better to be a loser.
